The City of Richardson has a free children's immunization clinic for childhood immunizations.   We do not give the seasonal flu vaccine.  The immunization clinic is available to all RISD students and residents 18 years and younger who do not have private medical insurance that covers immunizations.  An appointment is required.

The 2013 Annual Trash Bash on April 6th, 2013 was a GREAT success!

Saturday, April 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. @ the Richardson Civic Center...

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is expected to schedule another collection event on April 27th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m..  The CPAAA sponsored event will be held at the Richardson Civic Center/City Hall Complex in the south parking lot.  This event is typically held twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

A City of Richardson Food Handler Card/Certificate is required for all employees of food establishments within the City of Richardson.  Options available for obtaining a Food Handler Card include 1) Online video & payment; 2) Attend one of the classes held each month; and 3) An employer presentation on site at the establishment. 

The monthly food handler class is held the 1st Wednesday of each month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richardson Civic Center in both English & Spanish. Registration is NOT required.
